Gurney leads Mission Valley Bank, which has two branches and divisions specializing in lending, accounts receivable, community development and merchant bankcard services. She also serves as the Director of the California Community Banking Network and is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council.

“What you focus on is what you get!” Don’t listen to the people who tell you that you can’t, trust and believe in yourself.

What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“To Kill a Mockingbird,” (and) “Dead Poet’s Society.”

What’s at the top of your bucket list?
To explore the Greek Islands, Mediterranean, Southern Italy and France for a month or two.

What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles?
Mountains and beaches with all they offer within an hour away, amazing diversity and quality of food choices, incredible and diverse entertainment opportunities, great weather.
