Anaya serves as the head of Bank of America’s business banking for the entire country, as well as president for the bank’s greater Los Angeles division. As of last year, Bank of America accounted for 18% of the county’s financial institution market share. Anaya’s team advises mid-sized companies on financial and investment strategies. Prior to serving as president of business banking, Anaya led Bank of America’s Pacific Southwest Region for global commercial banking. Today, Anaya is a member of Mayor Karen Bass’s Executive Business Cabinet and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Additionally, Anaya co-chairs Bank of America’s Hispanic-Latino Leadership Council.

What’s the best advice you ever got?
Treat everyone with the same level of respect and care that you would show your parents.

What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category?
“Gladiator.”

What’s at the top of your bucket list?
African safari trip with my family.

What was your first car?
1980 Ford Mustang.

No! It was in the mechanic shop every month.
