Vidergauz has led the investment banking firm The Sage Group for almost 25 years. Today the firm serves global clients out of its offices in New York and Los Angeles, advising on transactions across industries like apparel, cosmetics, digitally native brands and e-commerce. Some of the transactions the firm has advised on include a recapitalization of the footwear brand Oliver Cabell last year, as well as Guess’s acquisition of Rage and Bone this February. Prior to founding Sage, Vidergauz headed the West Coast operation of ING Barings. He has advised on hundreds of transactions worth billions of dollars in value. He serves on the board of governors of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as the board of the Monster Beverage Corp.

What’s the best advice you ever got? A secure job can sometimes curtail potential – i.e. start your own business. What’s your favorite movie, all time and in any category? “The Godfather.” What’s at the top of your bucket list? Attend the next Rugby World Cup. What’s the best thing about living in Los Angeles? Diversity.
