Attanasio founded private equity firm Crescent Capital in 1991 with Jean-Marc Chapus and has since led its growth to manage over $43 billion in assets. The businessman is also the chair and principal owner of the MLB Milwaukee Brewers team. He has been at the helm of the team for 20 years. Attanasio also chairs the league’s Investment Committee, and is a member of the MLB Labor Policy Committee. Attanasio serves on numerous boards in Los Angeles, including the LA2028 Olympic Committee, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Harvard-Westlake School. Last year, Crescent Capital launched a private credit corporation with a $150 million investment from the institutional asset management arm of Sun Life Financial.
