Founding Partner, Co-Chair, Levine Leichtman Capital Partners
Leichtman co-founded her Beverly Hills-based private equity firm with her husband, Arthur Levine, in 1984. Today the firm, which focuses on middle-market deals, reports $9.3 billion in assets under management. While no longer the firm’s managing partner, Leichtman is actively involved on the firm’s executive and investment committees. Prior to co-founding the firm, Leichtman practiced as a lawyer, including with the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In March, Leichtman and her husband bought the National Women’s Soccer League team San Diego Wave FC from Ron Burkle for $113 million.
