Sands has been Lendistry’s chief executive for nine years. Lendistry is a small-business lending company that has administered almost $10 billion in small business loans and grants to over 634,000 companies. It is ranked as one of the top SBA Community Advantage lenders in the country. Last year, his company was selected to administer the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity’s grant program. Personally, Sands has managed credit, operation and sales departments and has closed over $3 billion in transactions. Prior to becoming chief executive at Lendistry, he led Wells Fargo’s lending teams in Washington, D.C., and significantly increased its market share. Sands is a board member of the Penn Institute for Urban Research and a board member of The Center by Lendistry.
