Wedbush oversees Wedbush Capital, the privately-held parent company which invests through sponsored funds such as Wedbush Capital Partners and Wedbush Ventures. He succeeded his father Edward Wedbush, who founded the stock brokerage firm Wedbush Securities in 1955. Eric Wedbush worked throughout the investment firm’s subsidiaries, including its Equity Capital Markets Group and Wedbush Ventures. While Wedbush Capital does not disclose assets under management, the Securities subsidiary reported approximately $7.8 billion in December of last year.
