Long Beach environmental services firm Alta Environmental has been awarded two contracts worth $13.3 million from the Los Angeles County Public Works Department, the company announced Tuesday.
The three-year contracts are for as needed environmental services. One, for $12.5 million is for assessment, cleanup and compliance services; the other, valued at $750,000, is for testing, inspection and monitoring services.
Alta provides services throughout the Western U.S., specializing in environmental health and safety, site assessment and remediation, and hazardous materials remediation, among other things.
