Shawn Sheffield, MBA, MHSA, is a highly regarded health care executive with deep experience in academic medicine, and has led Keck Medicine of USC’s clinical growth and expansion efforts for over a decade. Under Sheffield’s leadership, the health system’s annual revenue has more than tripled, to now over $3.4 billion.
Sheffield oversees network development, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, capital and venture planning and physician alignment strategies. In 2022, Sheffield played a key role in Keck Medicine’s acquiring of USC Arcadia Hospital, bringing residents of the San Gabriel Valley greater access to specialized care and breakthrough technology. She has also led the development of the new medical office complex in Pasadena that will serve the city and surrounding areas beginning in the fall of 2025.
