Jill Welton, MSN, RN, was promoted to market president of Dignity Health Southern California in April 2024. Prior to this role, she served as president and CEO of Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center (GMHHC) since 2018. During her tenure, Welton successfully improved employee engagement and patient experience, leading to significant culture changes with measurable results.
At GMHHC, Welton led a leadership team that improved quality outcomes and patient experience scores, earning the hospital its first-ever CMS Five-Star Quality Rating and a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade A. She began her career as an emergency room nurse, and later transitioned to administrative leadership, where she has continued to make a lasting impact on healthcare delivery.
