Lisa Maqueira is vice president of finance and chief revenue cycle officer at Cedars-Sinai, overseeing revenue cycle functions for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital; Cedars-Sinai Medical Network; Huntington Health, a Cedars-Sinai Affiliate; and Huntington Health Physicians medical group.
Maqueira creates and implements a strategic vision centered around the patient experience while maximizing revenue through organizational policy, innovation and implementing workflows designed to support a single, patient-centered revenue cycle. Maqueira joined Cedars-Sinai in 2011 as executive director of Professional Billing and Revenue Cycle Services for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, faculty and emergency physicians. She was promoted to vice president of Revenue Cycle and Managed Care Operations for the Medical Network in 2016, and her leadership and innovation are significant factors in its success. Among her career achievements is successfully integrating four separate hospital and professional billing teams into one integrated revenue cycle team.
