Since joining the leadership team of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in 2015, the organization has benefited immeasurably from Lara Khouri’s dynamic leadership, visionary communication style and unwavering approach to holistic problem-solving. She is known for bringing groups of experts together to address problems and opportunities and combines her compassion and commitment to support and advance the fulfillment of CHLA’s mission—to create hope and build healthier futures.
Khouri is responsible for overseeing operational performance across the CHLA enterprise. Khouri works alongside clinical and administrative leaders to develop and improve processes, procedures and systems while addressing patient care needs, patient and team member experience and CHLA’s impact in the broader community. Overseeing clinical growth efforts across the organization, she has led the development of dozens of pediatric programs that bring together world class, multidisciplinary experts to care for the most complex of patients.
