Over her 21-year career, Adaeze Cadet has shattered barriers and stereotypes, emerging as a trailblazer for Black women in architecture. As design principal at HOK’s Los Angeles studio, she plays a pivotal role in defining the studio’s creative vision and advancing its design excellence. Her ability to seamlessly transition between project designer and project architect roles ensures outstanding client service across large-scale, confidential entertainment, commercial, and science and technology projects.
Cadet is recognized not only for her technical expertise but for her visionary approach to design, with her work lauded by prominent publications including Wehoville, Lonny Magazine and Design Milk. As member of HOK’s Global Design Board, she influences the firm’s international design direction, championing innovation and inclusivity.
