Last year, Huggins and co-counsel Brian Klein won a significant victory for client Bitfloor, Inc. when partial summary judgment was granted to onetime customers of the failed cryptocurrency exchange but also granted Bitfloor and founder Roman Shtylman’s cross-motion, agreeing with them that the damages awarded should be limited to the dollar value of bitcoin more than a decade ago.
