Sheila Fix is a defined equity partner in Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman Los Angeles office. She concentrates her practice on toxic tort litigation, toxic injury, catastrophic injury, employment, and construction. Fix also manages complicated actions involving sureties, such as claims involving payment and performance bonds, defaults on construction projects, and bonds for the release of mechanic’s liens. She has tried over 75 cases, including 20 jury trials, as a partner at WSHB and in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps.
Fix has been successful with cases that have gone to trial in the field of construction involving public works initiatives, residential construction, claims involving landslides and subsidence, premises liability, and toxic torts. Additionally, Fix provides advice to owners, builders, and contractors on risk management concerns throughout the entire construction process as well as post-construction commercial property management.
