Early in her career at Gumbiner Savett (now part of BPM), Karla found herself as the only Latina Tax practice member among approximately 70 employees. When Gumbiner Savett joined BPM in 2021, Luna took on the role of regional group leader for the Santa Monica tax team, helping integrate staff into the larger, regional firm dynamic.
As a tax partner at BPM, Luna specializes in tax planning, consulting and compliance for privately held companies and high-net-worth individuals across various industries. Her diligence in staying current with tax laws enables her to provide significant value to clients through identifying tax credits and industry-specific savings opportunities. She is also the founder and executive sponsor for BPM’s Hispanic & Latinx Community Resource Group.
