In 2023, Claudia Bassett achieved her most successful career accomplishment to date: making partner at CohnReznick in the firm’s National Assurance practice. Bassett started her career in public accounting about 20 years ago. Throughout her career, she has focused on continuously learning and improving her technical capabilities. In 2015, Bassett joined CohnReznick as an engagement quality control reviewer for a variety of clients and industries. Over the following decade, her role expanded to include her being a learning and development instructor and content developer, both internally and externally. She worked on a variety of large-scale projects focused on audit efficiency and effectiveness that had an impact throughout her firm’s audit practice.
In addition, Bassett is a frequent presenter on accounting topics and has published numerous technical accounting articles. Her perseverance and willingness to accept challenging assignments has made her stand out in her profession.
