With over 40 years of experience in human resources, Susi Takeuchi joined UCLA Health in 2015. She provides organizational leadership in the design, development and execution of HR strategies, initiatives and programs across UCLA Health, which encompasses the David Geffen School of Medicine and UCLA Health System (hospitals, clinics, and practice plan).
Takeuchi was instrumental in envisioning and executing a human resources strategic plan — aligned with UCLA Health strategy and business plans — to ensure that HR programs, initiatives and operations are conducive to integration, efficiency and service. Takeuchi also led the development of a comprehensive action plan focused on consistent customer service through service level agreements defined by specific metrics.
