Kimberly Bishop was named chair of the board of Shawmut, a $1.3 billion construction management firm. Bishop’s experience as a seasoned business leader and expert human capital advisor positions her to successfully usher Shawmut through the next phase of its aggressive strategic growth plan, driven by increased market share of projects with substantial scope and complexity in Southern California. To support this trajectory, Shawmut has diligently assembled a team of skilled large project builders, adding expertise in the commercial, education, and life sciences sectors. Bishop will also help guide the firm in its mission to provide clients with a better building experience. Her appointment is Shawmut’s latest move in its commitment to engage board members who bring diverse perspectives and specialized expertise to the firm.

Bishop is currently co-CEO of Kinetic Leaders, a firm specializing in strategy innovation and executive search. She previously founded her own boutique executive search firm—where she worked closely with companies and business leaders to recruit talent for executive positions and board members—and has held various leadership roles at other global firms.
