The Boys & Girls Clubs of West San Gabriel Valley & Eastside announced the appointment of Sam Swabb as Chairman, Board of Directors. The Diamond Development Group executive will lead an experienced board and provide vital support to the Club and its work within its key focus areas of creating safe environments, tackling food insecurity, providing workforce development, and the Kindness is Free movement.
Swabb, a longtime San Gabriel Valley community member and WSGVBGC board member since 2015, leads a board committed to the Club’s successes as it builds upon its 52-year history of supporting the underserved youth and families of the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding region.
Swabb is executive vice president at Diamond Development Group, a commercial real estate company that acquires, develops, and manages high-end retail properties in urban and high-density suburban West Coast markets. He oversees and directs the company’s portfolio of projects and provides strategic guidance on property management and operational efficiencies.

Lifetime board members include Michael Eng, Robert Riewerts, MD, Kenneth Sim, Wesley Tanaka, Irwin Wong, Josephine Yeh, and Mauricio Zavala.
