Orville Ortiz, MBA is the new Chief Financial Officer for Wellnest, a nationally recognized, trauma-informed behavioral health organization. He brings over 20 years of experience in budgeting, financial modeling, and strategic planning. A results-driven executive, Orville oversees financial management of trusts, investments, real estate, and accounting processes to ensure sustainable cash flow. With expertise in compliance, audits, and regulatory standards (GAAP, federal, and state), Orville ensures Wellnest’s financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Previously, Orville served as Senior Director of Finance at The People Concern, one of LA County’s largest social service agencies, and as Director of Operations and Finance at The Maple Counseling Center, a nonprofit providing affordable mental health services in Los Angeles. Prior to that, Orville was Treasurer/CFO of the Southern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, leading financial oversight, reporting, and fiscal strategy. A collaborative leader, Orville is dedicated to building systems that provide financial stability that support a positive, service-oriented culture. Orville has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Southwestern Adventist University and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
