EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION (ECF.NET) WELCOMES LAN NGUYEN TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
Lan was born and raised in Vietnam and moved to Los Angeles in 2015.
After graduating from school early in Vietnam, at 17 Lan went to Moscow and attended the Land Use Planning State University where she earned a Master of Science degree in Engineering. She also holds a Master of Science in Economics from the International Academy of Marketing and Management in Moscow.
She married and moved to Ukraine working in the financial department of a noodle production company formed by her husband and friends. Lan later moved to Vietnam with her husband to focus on real estate development projects with his company, Sun Group, now one of the largest real estate developers in Vietnam, developing transformative holiday resorts, tourist attraction parks and luxury real estate. Sun Group projects include the Intercontinental Da Nang and JW Marriott Phu Quoc.
Lan has served as a volunteer at orphanage homes in Da Nang and Hanoi, the Vun Art Center for people with special needs in Hanoi, and as a member of the Rotary Club in Santa Monica.
She lives in Studio City with her two sons and divides her time between the U.S. and Vietnam.
