STEVE MARQUEZ JOINS SULLIVANCURTISMONROE AS NEW PRESIDENT
SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Services is pleased to welcome Steve Marquez, CPCU, ARM, as its new President. Having launched his insurance career more than 30 years ago as an underwriter at Continental Insurance, Marquez brings the same high level of dedication to creating innovative coverage solutions and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service for which SCM is known. His extensive leadership and management experience in the Orange County marketplace began as Vice President with Armstrong/Robitaille Insurance which became BB&T and ultimately McGriff where he served as Corporate Senior Vice President.
“SCM is very excited to have someone of Steve’s caliber on board,” said SCM’s CEO John Monroe, who is passing his responsibilities as president to Marquez. “He stands out as a leader who has proven that he understands how to build strong client relationships through advocacy and cost containment, while also clearly communicating his strategic business vision to team members. Marquez has twice been selected by Orange County Business Journal as an “Insurance Leader of Influence.” He completed an Executive Scholar program in Organizational Leadership at Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management.
