Kiralla
John S. Kiralla has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and CMO/CCO at Loyola Marymount University, where he leads a comprehensive portfolio that integrates university administration, reputation management, and external engagement. As LMU’s longest-serving executive leader, Kiralla has held multiple cabinet posts and served in nearly every division, guiding some of the university’s most complex and visible initiatives with successful outcomes that have shaped the institution and moved LMU forward.
Sebastian
John T. Sebastian has been appointed as LMU’s inaugural Senior Vice President for Mission, leading efforts to integrate the university’s mission into the life of the community — from faculty formation and student retreats to interfaith partnerships. Sebastian joined LMU in 2017 as the university’s second vice president for mission and ministry. A tenured professor of English, his experience as a mission leader, faculty colleague, and thought partner uniquely positions him to guide this model.
