Suffolk, one of the largest and most innovative real estate and construction enterprises in the country, has named Jeff Hoopes as President of the West Coast and Stephen Green as General Manager of Los Angeles. These appointments reflect Suffolk’s commitment to growth and excellence in the region.

Hoopes

Hoopes joins Suffolk from Swinerton, where he served as CEO and Chairman Emeritus. He is a highly respected leader with more than 40 years of experience in construction whose in-depth understanding of the market will be invaluable as Suffolk expands operations in California. Recognized for his commitment to client service, Hoopes will reinforce Suffolk’s reputation for providing clients exceptional service during the planning and construction process along with supporting career development and promoting innovation. He has deep roots in the communities in which Suffolk builds.

Green

Green has significant experience in California and has spent 30 years in the construction industry. His leadership, particularly in healthcare and life sciences, will be pivotal in strengthening Suffolk’s presence and capabilities. Green’s extensive knowledge and strategic approach will be central in identifying new growth and diversification opportunities in Southern California.

The addition of Hoopes and Green comes at a time of significant growth for Suffolk in California. The national contractor recently announced milestones for several signature projects throughout the state, including 1629 Market Street and 600 7th Street in San Francisco; Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown; AC + Moxy Hotels in Los Angeles; and The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Art Center in San Diego.
