Banc of California has welcomed Karen Hon as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, Hon oversees all accounting, controllership, and financial reporting, including Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Hon is also a member of the company’s Senior Management Committee, helping to drive operational excellence, business process improvements and enhancements across the bank.
Hon has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting and has differentiated herself as a notable finance and accounting leader. Most recently, she served as Chief Accounting Officer at Silicon Valley Bank for 17 years and was previously an auditor at KPMG.
