CHRIS KETTERING PROMOTED TO PARTNER AT RSM US LLP
RSM US LLP (“RSM”), a leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services to the global middle market, is pleased to announce Chris Kettering’s promotion to Partner. Chris’ career in auditing controls and systems spans more than 13 years. He has been responsible for managing and delivering audit, non-audit assurance services and risk and controls consulting services for some of the largest financial services clients where he delivers System and Organization Controls (SOC) attestation reports, integrated Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), regulatory compliance, internal audit and consulting engagements.
Chris serves to develop a relationship with a diverse senior management team and leading and managing global teams, including shared service operation teams. Chris leads RSM’s West region SOC reporting and national SOC Fintech practices. He is the engagement leader and signing CPA for over 40 SOC reports annually and oversees several IT audits.
Chris is a Certified Public Accountant in Iowa, Illinois and California. He also holds a CISA certification and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA). Chris earned his BBA in Accounting, Finance and Economics from the University of Iowa.

TREVOR PEREA JOINS RSM US LLP AS PRINCIPAL – M&A TAX
RSM is excited to welcome Trevor Perea as a Principal in the M&A Tax practice, based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. Trevor brings over 14 years of experience advising clients on structuring mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations for public and private corporations, partnerships and LLCs. His expertise includes tax due diligence, as well as pre- and post transaction advisory services, making him a trusted advisor in the M&A space.
Before joining RSM, Trevor served as a Principal in M&A Tax at PwC, where he developed a strong reputation for delivering strategic insights and practical solutions to complex tax matters. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Trevor has a unique background as a former professional soccer player, having played for DC United and the Columbus Crew. He also represented the U.S. Youth National Teams at the U-18, U-20 and U-23 levels, showcasing a commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
Trevor holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a JD with a focus on tax from Pace University School of Law as well as an undergraduate degree from Duke University. His diverse experience and skills make him a valuable addition to RSM’s M&A Tax practice.
