Monica Shilling is a nationally-recognized transactional attorney. At the forefront of creative structures and problem solving her whole career, Shilling has helped clients navigate the complex legal and regulatory developments amid challenging times. Over the last 18 months, she has worked dedicatedly to help clients raise capital and address liquidity needs, raising more than $10 billion in a variety of transactions, including advising Ares Acquisition Corporation on its $1 billion initial public offering.
In addition to helping clients, Shilling has been committed to addressing some of the inequalities brought to the forefront during the recent past. She provided pro bono legal counsel to a 10-year, $90 million, industry-first initiative, “AltFinance: Investing in Black Futures.”
