Kalpana Srinivasan is Susman Godfrey’s first female managing partner in history and the first to be named so after climbing the ranks starting as Associate and is among a rare cadre of young, diverse females in California who are leading complex high-stakes matters involving cutting-edge legal issues.
Srinivasan is currently pursuing claims on a range of hot-button legal issues from illegal data scraping to trade secret theft to price-fixing to patent infringement. These cases are not only critical for her clients but will shape the boundaries of important legal questions in the area of IP protection and rights of consumers against anticompetitive conduct. She serves as co-lead counsel for HouseCanary in its misappropriation of trade secret, fraud and breach of contract case against Title Source. In 2018, she secured the fourth largest jury verdict of the year (and the highest IP jury verdict of the year) in the lawsuit.
