Julie Gerchik has proven to be a top litigator, focusing her practice on all types of complex matters including financial institution matters, securities litigation and regulatory matters, real estate and developer disputes, internal investigations, and entertainment, employment, technology, and IP matters.
In addition to being a top litigator, Gerchik has had a tremendous impact on the infrastructure and the culture of Glaser Weil. She is the hiring partner for the Litigation Department and the founder and chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Gerchik has embraced both roles, and among other accomplishments, has emphasized diverse hiring practices for the Litigation Department which have resulted in over 75% of the department’s hires being diverse over the past three years. Additionally, under Gerchik’s leadership, the Diversity Committee has hosted a number of diverse intra-firm cultural events geared toward education.
