Julia Romano has the trial experience that few female attorneys her age possess, with more than a dozen high-profile jury trials under her belt after just 12 years of practice. As an associate, Romano quickly found her way into the courtroom and onto trial teams, performing true litigation and trial work.
Romano is now second-chairing some of the most high-profile product liability trials in the country, including serving as trial counsel for Johnson & Johnson in the widely publicized litigation involving the company’s iconic baby powder. She has helped obtain numerous other successes for Johnson & Johnson, including being on the trial team that won a defense verdict for the company in the first case in the country to go to verdict regarding plaintiff mesothelioma claims. She is also extremely dedicated to pro bono work as well as diversity and inclusion efforts both within and outside the firm.
