Jayme Long is a first-chair trial attorney who has tried cases for some of the largest companies in the world. She serves on multiple national trial teams in high profile product liability, premises liability and mass tort cases around the country. She represents clients in the energy, manufacturing, medical and safety industries globally, and in state and federal courts in the United States.
Often the only woman lead trial lawyer in the courtroom, Long has developed a reputation for excellence in the area of civil litigation defense. She has taken multiple cases to verdict and has obtained three directed/nonsuit verdicts. She has several published and unpublished appellate decisions, in which the appellate court upheld her favorable judgments, including four decisions in the last two years. Other recent successes include prevailing in a coordinated toxic tort action against cross-border refinery workers after multiple bench trials, appeals, and petitions to the California Supreme Court.
