One of only a few Latina partners in entertainment law, Heidy Vaquerano is a skilled negotiator who closes lucrative transactions for musicians, actors, comedians, producers and managers. Despite the headwinds of the pandemic, Vaquerano made a major career move in October 2020 to join Fox Rothschild to broaden her horizons and better serve her clients.
Vaquerano’s client list contains many high-profile entertainers, influencers and agencies. In recognition of her vast experience in entertainment, she is often asked to speak on different subjects. In September 2021, she addressed AmericanaFest 2021 regarding the hurdles artists face while selling their recording and publishing catalogs. She also spoke in January at the Women in Music Summit about how the catalog sales process works. She is also on the cutting edge of technology, serving as the Entertainment and Sports Law Department’s point person when it comes to negotiating NFT deals with major platforms like Yellow Heart and Ethernity.
