Arifa Majeed has been in-house counsel for Emanate Health since May 2021. She previously served as associate in-house counsel for three years, director of contracts and privacy for two years and privacy specialist for more than one year. During her time at Emanate Health, Majeed has been instrumental in supporting the organization with her vast breadth of knowledge in healthcare law. She has held key roles in propelling many innovative clinical programs forward at Emanate Health. Currently, she is working towards establishing Emanate Health’s medical foundation.
Majeed has more than 20 years of experience as a lawyer. She has spent a significant portion of her career consulting with physicians and small business owners. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and also holds a Certificate in Health Care Corporate Compliance from George Washington University. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional.
