Simon Close serves as president of 24 Hour Home Care’s Community Supports Division, which prioritizes care for underserved Los Angeles communities by providing access to in-home care for Medi-Cal subscribers and other low-income people. Close joined the team in 2020 as vice president of sales, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries across three continents.
Transitioning to the home care sector, an entirely new field for him, presented unprecedented challenges, but Close’s resilience and adaptability shone through. He not only navigated the intricacies of the industry but also led his team through the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring the continued provision of essential in-home care services to vulnerable populations. Close is motivated, in part, by his personal connection to 24 Hour Home Care’s mission: to impact people’s lives by making a difference every day.
