Chief Executive Officer
A Place Called Home

Norayma Cabot has over 18 years of experience leading successful organizations with expertise in spearheading strategic initiatives, driving organizational growth, working with vulnerable communities, and diversifying funding sources. In her first year as CEO, Cabot elevated APCH’s business operations, eliminating an operating deficit and maximizing programmatic success. The organization, which annually serves more than 700 of Los Angeles’ most at-risk youth and their families with state-of-the-art programs in the arts, mental health counseling, food insecurity, career pathways, college scholarships, and more, is now poised to launch a long-desired Technology Transformation program that will bring new educational opportunities to South Central youth and substantially increase the agency’s technological capacity.

Prior to APCH, Cabot was one of a handful of non-attorney executive directors of a legal services organization, leading the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice through the pandemic resulting in a more financially robust and innovative organization.
