Eric Pettit is a trial lawyer and former federal law clerk with nearly two decades of experience litigating a broad range of complex commercial matters, including partnership, real estate, employment and intellectual property disputes, securities actions (both civil and regulatory), and construction defect, environmental and professional negligence cases. In addition to his extensive experience before state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the country, Pettit has arbitrated many cases with AAA, JAMS and FINRA.
Over the court of his career, Pettit has represented a diverse roster of clients, including real estate developers and investors, senior executives, A-list celebrities, music labels, movie studios and Fortune 500 companies. As part of his commercial litigation practice, for the last several years, Pettit has represented numerous investors in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program, which provides billions of dollars in federal tax credits to help incentivize capital investment in affordable housing.
