Danilo Kawasaki started his career in the financial services industry at SunAmerica Securities in 2002, where he was quickly promoted to the branch manager position of the West Los Angeles branch by the age of 24. After he tripled branch revenues in only three years, his branch became the top office in the company.
However, after the 2008 financial crisis, Kawasaki felt that clients deserve modern, impartial, independent financial advice in line with their goals and tolerance for risk. Aiming to challenge the status quo, he partnered with Ross Gerber to found Gerber Kawasaki Wealth Management. Currently, Kawasaki is the co-founder, vice-president and COO. He oversees the compliance and day-to-day operations of the firm while serving his individual clients. He is also a member of the Gerber Kawasaki Board of Directors and the Investment Selection Committee.
