Jerome Greening has devoted his career to strengthening educational opportunity and community well-being in Boyle Heights and East Los Angeles. Over more than two decades at PUENTE Learning Center, he has served in numerous leadership roles, bringing a rare combination of institutional knowledge, operational excellence, and mission driven leadership.
As CEO, Greening has guided PUENTE through a period of remarkable growth and stability, leading the organization to an annual operating budget exceeding $10 million while preserving its unwavering focus on serving the community. Under his leadership, PUENTE expanded its charter school to serve students from Transitional Kindergarten through fifth grade, creating a stronger educational pathway for families.
