KBK partner Charles J. Snyder is a seasoned first-chair trial lawyer and former Supervisory Deputy Federal Public Defender who has served as lead or co-lead counsel in some of the Central District of California’s most significant and well-known recent cases, including co-leading the defense of former LA City Councilmember José Huizar and serving as lead trial counsel for nationally prominent plaintiff’s attorney Tom Girardi.
During his tenure as a member of the Federal Public Defender’s Office, Snyder compiled a trial record that includes acquittals in half of his federal criminal trials while appearing in hundreds of cases and supervising a team of trial lawyers. For nearly a decade, he has also served as a faculty instructor at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
