Arriving at Wilson Sonsini the same month as California’s initial pandemic lockdown, Victor Jih has combined his background in entertainment and media disputes with Wilson Sonsini’s dominance in the technology industry to create a thriving practice at the intersection of those areas.
At Wilson Sonsini, Jih was asked to build a litigation practice in LA from the ground up. He brought a wealth of entertainment litigation experience. He had worked on a long-running dispute involving Warner Bros. and Disney over the rights to Winnie the Pooh. His more recent work shows how that background is melding with Wilson Sonsini’s technology roots to powerful effect. He is representing Hulu and Disney+, for instance, in putative class actions across the country.
