Rob Begland is a partner and part of Cox Castle’s Litigation Team. He is a leading litigator and an experienced trial lawyer. He typically represents individuals and companies in disputes related to real property, contracts, corporate governance, and insurance recovery.
Begland has a wide range of commercial experience, having pursued and defended claims in state court, federal court, arbitrations, and before administrative tribunals. He has also supervised litigation outside the US, including claims made in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His most recent large lawsuit involved claims from the massive Porter Ranch gas leak in which he represented three corporate developers, as plaintiffs, in their claims against Southern California Gas Company and its parent Sempra.
