With nearly 40 years of experience, Neal Marder is a trial lawyer and highly accomplished class action litigator. He has achieved significant victories in state and federal courts in California and nationwide, including precedent-setting victories in high-visibility, enterprise-threatening litigation. As a partner at Akin, Marder leads the firm’s litigation efforts in California and co-chairs its national class actions practice.
Marder has tried to verdict and arbitrated over 50 cases on behalf of a diverse range of clients spanning various industries, including energy, food and beverage, entertainment, transportation, consumer products and real estate. He is a first-call lawyer for several of the firm’s top clients, including industry giants McDonald’s, Cheesecake Factory, C.R. England and Eastman Kodak.
