Antitrust litigators rarely try lawsuits, but Jeff LeVee has tried multiple cases to verdict. His most recent trial was Sidibe v. Sutter Health, No. 3-12-cv-04854 (N.D. CA), in February-March 2022, whereby the jury returned a complete defense verdict following a five-week trial of antitrust claims involving contracts between Sutter Health and several insurance companies, where plaintiffs were seeking well over $1 billion in damages.
LeVee brings to bear experience trying cases for Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Macy’s, Sheffield Medical Group, and others, obtaining complete defense verdicts in each of those cases. Most recently, LeVee was lead counsel for RE/MAX in the series of antitrust cases involving brokerage fees in the residential real estate market.
