Jason Y. Kelly’s trial experience and insight into artificial intelligence and privacy law make him stand out. Kelly, along with another colleague, tried the first in-person federal civil jury trial in the Central District of California when the court lifted restrictions on in-person trials during the pandemic. Despite the complex intellectual property issues involved in the client’s trademark infringement and counterfeiting claims, Kelly and team streamlined the case, adhered to the Judge’s schedule, and secured a jury verdict for the client.
Kelly also counsels and represents clients in litigation concerning privacy law in California. Through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, he obtained the CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications, making him a US and European Certified Information Privacy Professional.
