Dan McMillan is the co-leader of Jones Day’s global construction practice. He is widely recognized as a construction industry leader by Fortune 500 project owners and developers, contractors, and public entities who seek his advice on the largest, most complex and challenging projects located in California, throughout the United States, and across the globe.
This past year McMillan acted as the lead trial counsel in an ICC arbitration in New York concerning the design and construction of a large LNG facility located in southwest Louisiana. Dan succeeded in recovering more than $200 million for the EPC contractor and defeated the owner’s claim of more than $1 billion for alleged mismanagement.
