Alex Weingarten is managing partner of Willkie’s Los Angeles Office and chair of the firm’s Entertainment Litigation Practice. Weingarten is suing developers of the game Clothes Forever for their unauthorized use of her name and likeness. Gomez earns millions of dollars annually from her endorsements, and this action represents an effort to prevent use of her celebrity without authorization. Trial is scheduled for Fall 2023.
