Ray Matthews, MD has a career spanning 20 years in private practice and 18 years in academic medicine. He has served as the prior division chief of cardiology at Keck Medicine of USC and has worked tirelessly to build a topflight interventional cardiology program. Dr. Matthews has built a practice performing the most challenging cardiac interventions exclusively referred by other cardiologists who cannot or will not perform them. Additionally, he has cultivated research collaborations with USC’s college of engineering aimed at developing non-invasive, cell phone-based measurements of intracardiac pressures.
