Michael Steinberg, MD is a leader in cancer care, health policy and healthcare economics who has dedicated his career to advancing patient-centered care and addressing health disparities. Combining clinical research with effective health policy to best provide patients with state-of-the-art care, Dr. Steinberg has made lasting contributions to national health policy and economic frameworks that prioritize patient welfare. As the founding chair of the Health Policy Council for the American Society for Radiation Oncology, he spearheaded
initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery, quality and equity.
