Mark L. Sturdevant, MD has made an impactful contribution in the field of living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). He developed the LDLT program at the University of Washington-Seattle and within 2 years it became the most productive pediatric LDLT program in the country. Dr. Sturdevant was asked to co-chair a national consensus conference, funded by the American Society of Transplantation, to identify and overcome impediments to broader application of LDLT in the US.
